About Prescot Caring Companions

The Prescot Caring Companions club runs on Monday evenings at the Guild Hall in Prescot, (L34 6HW) from 7 o’clock. The group supports both carers and cared for by providing access to a community run social group to combat social isolation. Paul Doyle, chairman of Prescot Caring Companions tells us, “A lot of Carers find they never get the time to get out and socialise or even just to meet other people, you then start to become or feel isolated.We at Prescot Caring Companions want to give you the chance to be entertained, meet up with other people and to have a nice relaxing evening, all our members are like one happy family and would welcome anyone who would like to join us.”

Although there is a Bar in the Guild Hall, Prescot Caring Companions club do offer  members Tea and Biscuits, te evening starts with a few games of Bingo, Raffle, Quiz, a few Fun Games and a Karaoke sing a long, where you can also get up and have a dance.

Some of the activities that the Prescot Caring Companions get up to include: dress up party nights where such as Halloween and Christmas, with entertainers and organise a buffet, as well as day trips including shopping trips followed by a pub lunch, picture’s or entertainment shows and boat trip.
